Defect
In the continuously variable transmission (CVT), the dust-proofing structure of the shift mechanism is inadequate. Dust ingress causes the shift slider to bind, preventing the transmission from shifting. In the worst case, if the transmission locks in the high-speed ratio, the electromagnetic clutch will not engage at launch and the vehicle will be unable to move.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the continuously variable transmission with the corrected part.

状況
無段変速機（ＣＶＴ）において、 ①変速部の防塵構造が不適切なため、ダストにより変速部のスライダが摺動不良となり、変速できなくなることがある。そのため、最悪の場合、高速側で変速が固定された場合には、発進時に電磁クラッチが締結されなくなり、走行できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、無段変速機を対策品と交換する。
