Defect
In the emergency door lock system located at the rear of the vehicle, the return spring force acting on the lock that engages the catch, and the reaction force of the weather strip, are set incorrectly. When the door is closed slowly, the engagement between the lock and catch may be insufficient. If the vehicle continues to be operated in this condition, vibration during driving may cause the engagement to release and the emergency door to open.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the lock assembly, catch, and weather strip with corrected parts. In conjunction with optimizing the lock system spring force, add a reinforcement plate to the lock mounting panel.

状況
①後面に設けている非常扉のロックシステムにおいて、キャッチと噛み合うロックをもどすばねの押しもどし力の設定及びウェザーストリップの反力が不適切なため、扉をゆっくり閉めた場合、当該ロックとキャッチの噛み合いが不十分となることがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、最悪の場合、走行時の振動などで噛み合いが外れ、非常扉が開放するおそれがある。 本件は、平成１６年９月２２日付「届出番号１２２８」にてリコール届出を行ったものですが、対象車の選定に一部誤りがあったため、対象車両を追加、車台番号を訂正し、新たに届出するものです。（平成１８年１月１８日）
改善措置
①全車両、ロック一式、キャッチ、ウェザーストリップを対策品に交換する。なお、ロックシステムのばね力適正化に伴い、ロック取付部パネルに補強プレートを追加する。
