Defect
Dealer-option wheel caps were manufactured with an improper profile, causing them to protrude beyond the vehicle body. As a result, the wheel caps do not comply with Safety Standards.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the complete wheel cap set with corrected parts. Because supply of the corrected parts requires time, as an interim measure the complete wheel cap set will be removed, and the corrected parts will be installed at a later date.

状況
ディーラーオプション部品として販売されたホイール・キャップにおいて、形状が不適切 なため、ホイール・キャップが自動車の車体から突出している。そのため、ホイール・キ ャップに係わる保安基準を満足していない。
改善措置
全車両、当該ホイール・キャップ一式を対策品と交換する。 なお、対策品の供給に時間を要することから、当面の暫定処置として、ホイール・キャッ プ一式を取り外し、後日、ホイール・キャップ一式を対策品と交換する。
