Defect
On front suspension assemblies, lower arms manufactured through an improper forging process were installed. The flawed process causes cracks to develop at the ball joint socket of the lower arm. During circuit cornering, when the inner wheel rides over a step, or during sudden steering or sudden braking, the ball stud may separate from the ball joint socket, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the lower arm manufacturing lot number; if the lot is identified as affected, replace the lower arm with a conforming part.

状況
②前輪緩衝装置において、不適切な鍛造工程により製作されたロアアームが組み付けられ たため、当該ロアアームのボールジョイントソケット部に亀裂が発生したものがある。そ のため、サーキットでのコーナリング走行時等に、内輪が段差を乗り上げたり、急操舵、 急制動を行った場合、ボールジョイントソケット部からボールスタッドが外れ、走行不能 となるおそれがある。
改善措置
②全車両、ロアアームの製造ロット番号を点検し、該当するものは当該ロアアームを良品 と交換する。
