Defect
The ball joint bracket on the transverse link suspension arm was improperly machined. Repeated road-load inputs during driving cause a crack to develop in the bracket. Continued use allows the bracket to fracture, resulting in tire contact with the wheel house and loss of vehicle stability.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the left and right transverse links with corrected parts.

状況
緩衝装置(トランスバースリンク)のボールジョイント部ブラケットの加工形状に不適 切なものがあり、走行時に繰り返し路面からの入力を受けると、当該ブラケットに亀裂が 発生するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、当該ブラケットが切損し、タ イヤがホイールハウスと干渉し、走行安定性を損なうおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、左右のトランスバースリンクを対策品と交換する。
