Defect
On certain three-way dump body vehicles, an incorrect part was installed in the retaining stopper of the body cross hinge, which connects the dump body to the cylinder assembly. Continued use in this condition allows the body cross hinge to pull free from the dump body, causing the rear of the cylinder assembly to drop onto the rear axle housing. In the worst case, this damages the brake pipes, causing brake fluid to leak and reducing braking force. Additionally, if this condition occurs while the dump body is raised, the dump body may descend unexpectedly.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the stopper. Where an incorrect part is found, replace it with the correct production part.

状況
三転ダンプ架装車の荷台とシリンダ装置を結合している金具(ボデークロスヒンジ)の抜出 し防止用ストッパーに異なった部品を組み付けたものがある。このため、そのままの状態 で使用を続けると、荷台よりボデークロスヒンジが抜け、シリンダ装置後部がリヤアクス ルハウジング上に落下し、最悪の場合、ブレーキ配管を損傷しブレーキ液が漏れて制動力 が低下するおそれがある。 また、荷台を上昇させた状態で当該不具合が発生した場合は、荷台が降下するおそれがあ る。
改善措置
全車両、ストッパーを点検し、誤品については正規品と交換する。
