Defect
The exhaust pipe geometry is inadequate, causing elevated stress on the exhaust pipe and muffler during sustained engine operation within certain RPM ranges. Continued use under these conditions may damage the exhaust pipe and muffler, resulting in exhaust gas leaks.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the exhaust pipe, exhaust pipe bracket, and muffler with corrected parts. Because this change alone may introduce cabin resonance noise, also replace the cab suspension lateral link — a cab support structural component — with the corrected part.

状況
排気管の形状が不適切なため、エンジンを特定の回転域で連続運転した場合等により、排 気管と消音器にかかる応力が高くなる。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、排気管と消 音器が損傷し、排出ガスが漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該排気管、排気管ブラケットおよび消音器を対策品と交換する。 更に、上記の変更のみでは室内こもり音が発生するため、キャブの支持構造のひとつであ るキャブサス ラテラルリンクも併せて対策品と交換する。
