Defect
The ball joint socket on the lower arm, which connects to the axle hub, has insufficient strength. Repeated full-lock steering maneuvers may cause cracks to develop in the socket. In the worst case, the ball joint separates from the lower arm, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the lower arm with a corrected part.

状況
緩衝装置において、アクスルハブと連結しているロアアームのボールジョイントソケッ ト部の強度が不十分なため、ハンドル据え切り操作等を頻繁に繰り返すと当該ソケット部 に亀裂が生じるものがあり、最悪の場合、ロアアームからボールジョイントが外れ、走行 不能に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ロアアームを対策品と交換する。
