Defect
In the optional catalytic converter-integrated muffler, the structure of the exhaust gas inlet is improper, and the bracket supporting the exhaust pipe between the engine and the muffler has insufficient rigidity and inadequate vibration-damping rubber capacity. These conditions cause cracks to develop at the weld of the muffler's exhaust gas inlet. Continued use may result in exterior noise levels exceeding the specified limit.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected muffler with a corrected part and replace the bracket with vibration-damping rubber with a corrected part.

状況
消音装置にオプション設定されている触媒内蔵消音器（マフラ）において、当該マフラの 排出ガス入口の構造が不適切かつ、原動機とマフラ間の排気管を支持している金具の剛性 と当該金具の防振ゴムの容量が不足しているため、当該マフラの排出ガス入口の溶接部に 亀裂が発生し、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、車外騒音が基準値を超えるおそれがあ る。
改善措置
全車両、当該マフラを対策品と交換するとともに、防振ゴム付き金具を対策品と交換する 。
