Defect
In the running gear, some rear wheel lock screws — which prevent the wheel bearing nut from loosening — are insufficiently torqued. Driving vibration may cause the lock screw to loosen further, leading to loosening of the wheel bearing nut. In the worst case, the wheel may detach from the vehicle.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the lock washer and lock screw installation condition. (1) Where abnormal installation is found, check the bearing for damage; replace any damaged bearing with a new part, then tighten the lock screw to the specified torque. (2) Where installation is normal, tighten the lock screw to the specified torque.

状況
走行装置において、後輪ロックスクリュー(ホイールベアリングナットの緩みを防止す るためのネジ)の締付力が不足しているものがあるため、走行時の振動等によりロックス クリューが緩むことがあり、そのままの状態で使用を続けるとホイールベアリングナット が緩み、最悪の場合、車輪が外れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ロックワッシャー及びロックスクリューの組付状態を点検し、 ①組付状態が異常なものについては、ベアリングの損傷状態を確認し、損傷しているもの についてはベアリングを新品と交換のうえ、ロックスクリューを規定トルクで締付ける。 ②組付状態に異常のないものについては、ロックスクリューを規定トルクで締付ける
