Defect
On vehicles equipped with front-axle air springs, the lateral member has insufficient strength and may fracture. In the worst case, excessive lateral displacement of the vehicle causes the air spring to contact and damage the steering arm, reducing handling stability.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the lateral member and lateral rod bracket with corrected parts.

状況
前輪に空気ばねを装着した車両において、ラテラルメンバーの強度が不足しているため 、当該メンバーが切損し、最悪の場合、車両の横ずれが大きくなることにより、空気ばね がステアリングアームと干渉して破損し、操縦安定性が低下するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ラテラルメンバーおよびラテラルロッドブラケットを対策品に交換する。
