Defect
On CNG vehicles, the waterproofing method at the seam and wiring outlet of the case housing the DC converter — which supplies power to the gas valve and spark plugs — is improper. Continued use allows water to enter the case and cause a short circuit inside. In the worst case, the engine stalls and cannot be restarted.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, apply sealant to the seam and wiring outlet of the DC converter case.

状況
CNG車において、ガスバルブおよび点火プラグに電源を供給する直流変圧器を収めたケ ースの合わせ部と配線取出し部の防水方法が不適切なため、そのままの状態で使用を続け ると、当該部より水が侵入し、ケース内でショートするため、最悪の場合、原動機が停止 し、再始動できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、直流変圧器のケース合わせ部と配線取出し部にシール剤を塗布する。
