Defect
The interference-prevention bracket that separates the parking brake cable from the transmission gear control rod is incorrectly shaped. When the cab is tilted up, the parking brake cable may catch on the bracket. If the cab is then lowered with the cable in this snagged position, the cable detaches from its fixed retainer inside the cab, causing loss of parking brake function. Note: This recall supplements notification no. 1360 (February 17, 2005), which contained errors in the affected vehicle selection; additional vehicles have been identified and are covered under this new filing.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the interference-prevention bracket with the corrected part. Inspect the parking brake cable and replace with a new part if damage is found.

状況
駐車ブレーキケーブルとトランスミッション変速コントロールロッドの干渉を防止するための金具の形状が不適切なため、キャビンを上げた際に駐車ブレーキケーブルが、当該金具に引っ掛かることがある。そのため、そのままの状態でキャビンを下げた場合、駐車ブレーキケーブルがキャブ内に設置された固定金具より外れ、駐車ブレーキが効かなくなるおそれがある。 備考）本件は、平成１７年２月１７日付け「届出番号１３６０」にてリコール届出を行ったものですが、対象車両の選定に一部誤りがあったため、対象車両を追加し、新たに届出するものです。
改善措置
全車両、干渉防止用金具を対策品と交換する。なお駐車ブレーキケーブルを点検し、損傷がある場合は新品と交換する。
