Defect
In the power transmission system, the center bearing bracket supporting the propeller shaft is mounted in an improper position, causing the propeller shaft installation angle to be excessive. Continued use in this condition may damage the spline section of the propeller shaft. In the worst case, the vehicle may become inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the bracket with a corrected part and inspect the propeller shaft. If wear is found, replace it with a non-defective unit.

状況
動力伝達装置において、プロペラシャフトを保持するセンターベアリングブラケットの取 付位置が不適切なため、当該プロペラシャフトの取付角度が過大となり、そのままの状態 で使用を続けると、最悪の場合、当該プロペラシャフトのスプライン部が損傷し、走行不 能に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ブラケットを対策品と交換するとともに、プロペラシャフトを点検し、摩耗 している場合は良品に交換する。
