Defect

In the brake system, some brake pipes connected to the load-sensing proportioning valve (LSPV) are improperly assembled. As a result, during hard braking under a fully loaded condition, stopping distance may increase.

Corrective action

Inspect all vehicles. On any vehicle where the brake pipe assembly is found to be incorrect, reassemble the pipe to the proper specification.
