Defect
During the post-machining cleaning process for the rear-rear axle (hollow type) on dual-rear-axle vehicles, cleaning fluid was inadvertently left inside certain axles before assembly. Continued use allows the cleaning fluid to contaminate the hub grease, causing grease degradation. In the worst case, hub bearing seizure may occur, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the interior of the affected axle. If the hub grease appears milky-white or cleaning fluid is found inside, remove the cleaning fluid and replace the hub bearing and hub grease with new parts.

状況
後輪二軸車における後々車軸（中空形状）の機械加工後の洗浄工程において、車軸内部 に誤って洗浄液を侵入させたままで当該車軸を組み付けたものがあり、このままの状態で 使用を続けると、洗浄液がハブグリ－スに混入することによりグリ－スが劣化し、最悪の 場合、ハブベアリング（回転軸受）が焼き付き、走行できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該車軸の内部を点検し、ハブグリ－スが白濁している場合、または洗浄液が 入っている場合は洗浄液を除去するとともに、ハブベアリングおよびハブグリ－スを新品 と交換する。
