Issue
On route buses equipped with sliding windows that have a stopper to limit the opening width, the stopper geometry is inappropriate, which may cause the glass molding to break. Repeated forceful opening and closing of the window allows the glass to contact the stopper retaining screw. In the worst case, the glass may crack or shatter.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the window stopper with the corrected part. On vehicles where the molding is damaged, replace both the glass and the molding with new parts.
