Defect
The tie rod adjust sleeve was machined and surface-treated improperly, which may damage the threads and cause the fit to loosen. Continued use in this condition may allow the tie rod end to pull free, resulting in loss of steering control.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the complete tie rod assembly with a corrected/revised part.

状況
①タイロッドのアジャストスリーブの加工及び表面処理が不適切なため、ねじ山が損傷し、嵌合がゆるくなるおそれがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、最悪の場合、タイロッドエンドが抜け出し、操舵不能になるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、 ①タイロッド一式を対策品と交換する。
