Defect

The fuel injection pipe is routed incorrectly, causing excessive stress to develop at the connection point between the pipe and the fuel rail due to engine vibration. Continued operation under these conditions may cause the fuel injection pipe to crack, resulting in a fuel leak.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, add a support bracket to the affected injection pipe and replace the fuel injection pipe with a new part.

状況

燃料噴射パイプの配索が不適切なため、エンジンの振動により燃料噴射装置のコモンレールとの取付け部に過大な応力が発生する場合がある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、燃料噴射パイプに亀裂が発生し、燃料が漏れるおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、当該噴射パイプに支持金具を追加するとともに、燃料噴射パイプを新品と交換する。
