Defect
The driver's seat belt warning system and airbag warning system incorporate a warning switch inside the seat belt buckle that was machined improperly. As a result, the warning may fail to cancel even when the seat belt is correctly fastened.
Corrective action
Replace both the driver's and front passenger's seat belt buckles on all vehicles with conforming parts.
