Defect
On large tractors, improper forming of the fuel tank retaining bracket allows the side guard bracket secured to it to tilt, eliminating the required clearance between the bracket and the bottom surface of the fuel tank. Vibration during driving causes the fuel tank underside to contact the side guard bracket. Continued operation in this condition may damage the fuel tank and, in the worst case, cause a fuel leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the fuel tank retaining bracket and the side guard bracket with corrected/revised parts. Additionally, inspect the bottom surface of the fuel tank and, if damage is found, replace the fuel tank with a new one.

状況
大型トラクタの燃料装置において、燃料タンク保持ブラケットの成型加工が不適切なため、当該ブラケットに固定しているサイドガードブラケットが傾斜して、燃料タンク底面との隙間が確保されていないものがある。そのため、走行時の振動等で燃料タンク底面とサイドガードブラケットが接触して、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、燃料タンクが損傷し、最悪の場合、燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料タンク保持ブラケットとサイドガードブラケットを対策品と交換する。なお、燃料タンク底面を点検し、損傷がある場合は、燃料タンクを新品と交換する。
