Defect
The joint connecting the steering pump to the oil hose was improperly assembled, which can damage the O-ring during assembly. Continued use allows power steering oil to leak from the connection point. In the worst case, steering effort increases.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected O-ring with a new unit, apply lubricant, and reassemble the joint.

状況
パワーステアリングポンプとオイルホースを接続するジョイントにおいて、ジョイントの組付け方法が不適切なため、組付け時にOリングが損傷することがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、当該接続部からパワーステアリングオイルが漏れ、最悪の場合、操舵力が増大するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該Oリングを新品に交換するとともに、潤滑剤を塗布して再度組付けを行う。
