Defect
In the removable portable battery installed on electric motorcycles, the welding conditions for the components that form the cells within the battery are improper, allowing electrolyte to leak from damaged cells. Continued use causes metal deposition from the leaked electrolyte, resulting in a short circuit. In the worst case, the affected cell may ignite and cause a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
All units: replace the removable portable battery with a corrected part. Until the replacement is completed, users are requested to stop using the battery.

状況
電動二輪車に搭載する着脱式可搬バッテリにおいて、バッテリ内のセルと構成する部品の溶接条件が不適切なため、損傷したセルから電解液が漏れることがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、漏れた電解液により金属が析出し短絡して、セルが発火し火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全数、着脱式可搬バッテリを対策品に交換する。なお、対策品に交換するまでは、使用者へ使用停止を要請する。
