Defect
On large and medium trucks, an incorrect tool was used to tighten the rear bumper mounting bolts during production, leaving some bolts not tightened to the specified torque. During service, the affected bolts may loosen and, in the worst case, the rear bumper may detach and become a hazard to other traffic.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the tightening condition of the rear bumper mounting bolts. If loosening is found, retighten to the specified torque. If any bolt is found to be damaged, replace it with a new part.

状況
大中型トラックにおいて、リヤバンパー取付ボルトの締付けに使用した工具が不適切であっため、当該ボルトが正規トルクで締付けられていないものがある。そのため、使用過程で当該ボルトが緩み、最悪の場合、リヤバンパーが脱落し他の交通の妨げになるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、リヤバンパー取付ボルトの締付け状況を点検し、緩みが認められた場合は正規トルクで締付ける。また、当該ボルトに損傷が認められた場合は新品に交換する。
