Defect
On automatic transmissions, an incorrect shift control program may cause the forward clutch to enter a half-engaged (slipping) state when idle-up control activates while the vehicle is stationary in Drive (D) range. This causes abnormal wear of the clutch, allowing wear debris to clog the oil intake strainer. The resulting drop in hydraulic pressure inside the automatic transmission illuminates a warning light and may render the vehicle unable to move.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the automatic transmission control computer with a corrected part. Additionally, inspect the clutch for abnormal wear; if excessive wear is found, replace the automatic transmission assembly with a new unit.

状況
自動変速機において、変速制御プログラムが不適切なため、Ｄレンジで停車中にアイドルアップ制御が働くと前進用クラッチが半クラッチ状態となることがある。そのため、当該クラッチが異常摩耗してオイル吸入口のストレーナー部に摩耗粉が詰まることで自動変速機内の油圧が低下し、警告灯が点灯するとともに走行できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、自動変速機制御用コンピュータを対策品に交換する。なお、クラッチの摩耗量を点検し、異常摩耗しているものについては自動変速機本体を新品に交換する。
