Defect
On medium-duty trucks, the mounting method for the DPR filter clog-detection pipe is improper. Thermal expansion and contraction of the DPR main unit causes cracks to develop at the pipe mounting point. Exhaust gas leaks through the cracks, and even when soot accumulates in the DPR filter, the DPR warning lamp fails to illuminate. In the worst case, the DPR filter may sustain damage.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected pipe and mounting bracket with corrected parts.

状況
1.中型トラックにおいて、DPRフィルタ詰まり検知用パイプの固定方法が不適切なため、DPR本体の熱膨張・収縮等によりパイプ固定部に亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、亀裂部から排気ガスが漏れ、DPRフィルタに煤が堆積してもDPR警告灯が点灯しなくなり、最悪の場合、DPRフィルタが損傷するおそれがある。
改善措置
