Defect
In the brake master cylinder, inadequate assembly equipment allows the orientation of the rubber seal to go undetected, resulting in some seals being installed upside down and damaging the seal lip. The damaged lip produces an inadequate seal, which may cause brake force to decrease when the brake pedal is applied slowly.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the brake master cylinder with a conforming unit.

状況
ブレーキマスターシリンダにおいて、組付設備が不適切なため、ゴム製シールの表裏を正しく検出できず、逆向きに組付けてシールリップ部が損傷するものがある。そのため、当該リップ部がシール不良となり、ブレーキペダルをゆっくり踏む際に制動力が低下するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ブレーキマスターシリンダを良品と交換する。
