Defect
On large trucks, the shutdown program in the Driver Assistance Control Unit (DACU3) is inadequate. When an error is detected during the system shutdown phase, the DACU3 may enter a restart-pending state. As a result, an "Active Safety Electronic Control System Malfunction" message is displayed at engine start, and systems such as lane departure warning and automatic emergency braking may become inoperative.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the DACU3 with the corrected/updated software.

状況
大型トラックにおいて、運転者支援制御ユニット（ＤＡＣＵ３）のシャットダウンプログラムが不適切なため、システム終了の位相中にエラーが検出された際に、ＤＡＣＵ３が再起動待機状態になることがある。そのため、エンジン始動時に「アクティブセーフティ電制システム異常」のメッセージが表示され、車線逸脱警報や衝突被害軽減ブレーキなどが作動しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ＤＡＣＵ３のプログラムを対策プログラムに書き換える。
