Defect
On vehicle transport trucks, improper work instructions during assembly caused an O-ring to be installed in duplicate on the air intake check valve of the fuel tank. This prevents sufficient air from being supplied into the fuel tank. Continued operation in this condition creates negative pressure from fuel delivery to the engine, causing the fuel tank to collapse inward. In the worst case, fuel supply stops and the engine stalls.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the air intake check valve with a conforming part. If the fuel tank has already collapsed, replace it with a new unit.

状況
車両運搬車の燃料タンクにおいて、作業指示が不適切なため、空気取り込み用チェック弁の組み付け時にＯリングが誤って二重に取り付けられており、燃料タンク内部に空気が十分に送り込まれないことがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、エンジンへの燃料供給による負圧で燃料タンクが凹み、最悪の場合、燃料供給が停止し、エンジンが停止するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、空気取り込み用チェック弁を良品に交換する。また、燃料タンクが凹んでいる場合は燃料タンクを新品に交換する。
