Defect
In the vacuum pump of a diesel engine, insufficient durability of the oil hose allows repeated deformation from oil pressure fluctuations to cause cracks in the hose. The resulting engine oil leak activates the warning lamp. Continued operation can lead to inadequate engine lubrication and, in the worst case, engine stall while driving.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the vacuum pump oil hose with a corrected part.

状況
ディーゼルエンジンのバキュームポンプにおいて、オイルホースの耐久性が不足しているため、オイルの圧力変動による変形が繰り返されて当該ホースに亀裂が生じるものがある。そのため、エンジンオイルが漏れて警告灯が点灯し、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、最悪の場合、エンジンが潤滑不良となり、走行中にエンジンが停止するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該バキュームポンプのオイルホースを対策品と交換する。
