Defect
On large tractors, an inadequate manufacturing process for the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) pipe results in insufficient weld strength at the pipe flange joint. Engine vibration and related stresses can cause cracks to develop at the weld, leading to exhaust gas leaks.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) pipe with a conforming part.

状況
大型トラクタの原動機において、排気ガス再循環（ＥＧＲ）パイプの製造工程が不適切なため、当該パイプフランジの溶接部の強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、原動機の振動等により、当該パイプフランジの溶接部に亀裂が生じ、排気漏れが発生するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、排気ガス再循環（ＥＧＲ）パイプを良品に交換する。
