Defect
In the high-pressure fuel pumps mounted on the left and right cylinder banks of the V-type engine, resonance generated as the pumps alternate injection cycles produces greater-than-expected fuel pressure fluctuations. These fluctuations cause the pulsation damper mounting to slide and wear. The resulting damper damage produces abnormal noise and vibration, and continued use may lead to a fuel leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the high-pressure fuel pump with the corrected part.

状況
Ｖ型エンジンの左右シリンダバンクに配置された高圧燃料ポンプにおいて、ポンプが交互に噴射する際に発生する共振により、燃圧変動が想定外に大きくなり、パルセーションダンパ（燃圧変動減衰器）の固定部が摺動して摩耗することがある。そのため、当該ダンパが損傷して異音や振動が発生し、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、最悪の場合、燃料漏れに至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、高圧燃料ポンプを対策品と交換する。
