Defect
In the driver-side airbag inflator, the moisture-absorption temperature specification for the propellant is incorrect. Repeated cycles of temperature and humidity variation may cause the propellant to degrade. As a result, the inflator housing may rupture during airbag deployment.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the inflator is replaced with an improved part as a preventive measure.

状況
運転者席用エアバッグのインフレータ（膨張装置）において、ガス発生剤の吸湿温度が不適切なため、温度および湿度変化の繰り返しによりガス発生剤が劣化することがある。このため、エアバッグ展開時にインフレータ容器が破損するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、予防的措置として当該インフレータを改良品と交換する。
