Defect
On shovel loaders, the mounting bracket, fixing bolts, and engine-mounted bracket of the muffler have insufficient strength. This may cause the fixing bolts to fracture or cracks to develop in the engine-mounted bracket. Additionally, assembly variation between the exhaust pipe and the mounting bracket may cause cracks to develop in the exhaust pipe. Continued use allows muffler vibration to further damage the exhaust pipe and related components.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the fixing bolts, the engine-mounted bracket, and the mounting bracket with corrected/revised parts.

状況
ショベルローダの消音器において、取付ブラケット、固定ボルト及び原動機付属ブラケットの強度が不足しているため、固定ボルトが折損したり、原動機付属ブラケットに亀裂が発生する場合がある。また、排気管と取付ブラケットの組立のばらつきにより、排気管に亀裂が発生することがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、消音器の振動により排気管等が損傷するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、固定ボルト、原動機付属ブラケット及び取付ブラケットを対策品に交換する。
