Defect
On large route buses, the control software in the engine control unit and the exhaust aftertreatment control unit is incorrectly programmed, causing the urea solution injection volume to be insufficient. As a result, nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions in the exhaust gas may exceed the regulatory limit.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the engine control unit and the exhaust aftertreatment control unit with the corrected/updated software.

状況
大型路線バスの一酸化炭素等発散防止装置において、エンジン制御ユニットと排出ガス後処理装置制御ユニットの制御プログラムが不適切なため、尿素水の噴射量が少なく、排出ガス中の窒素酸化物（ＮＯｘ）の排出値が基準値を超えるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、エンジン制御ユニットと排出ガス後処理装置制御ユニットの制御プログラムを対策品に書換える。
