Defect
On heavy-duty trucks equipped with a 12-speed automated mechanical transmission, the control program is incorrect, causing the system to fail to detect the gear select position. As a result, the transmission may shift automatically to an incorrect gear. In the worst case, the vehicle may move forward even when the driver has selected reverse.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the automatic transmission control unit with the corrected software.

状況
