Defect
In the hydraulic pressure-regulating unit of the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), inadequate maintenance of assembly-line equipment during production results in some units being assembled without the pressure-regulating spring. During ABS activation, pressure regulation is delayed, compromising vehicle stability.
Corrective action
Replace the ABS hydraulic pressure-regulating unit on all vehicles with a conforming unit.
