Defect
Due to a manufacturing defect, internal component dimensions in the lift gate latch are incorrect, preventing the locking mechanism from operating normally. As a result, the lift gate may not lock completely. In the worst case, the lift gate may open while the vehicle is in motion.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the lift gate latch with a non-defective part.

状況
リフトゲートのラッチにおいて、製造不良により当該ラッチ内部の部品寸法が不適切なため、ロック機構が正常に作動せず、リフトゲートが完全にロックしないことがある。そのため、最悪の場合、走行中にリフトゲートが開くおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、リフトゲートラッチを良品と交換する。
