Defect
On vehicles fitted with an oil cooler and related components for circuit driving use, the oil hose joint fittings are improperly designed, causing oil seepage at the joints. Continued use allows the seepage to progress to an oil leak which, in the worst case, can cause engine damage.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the oil cooler hoses and joint fittings with corrected parts.
