Defect
On gasoline-engine vehicles, the battery cable is routed incorrectly and may contact the engine coolant connector on the engine block. Continued use allows engine vibration to damage the cable, and in the worst case, a vehicle fire may occur.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, add a clip and reroute the cable. Inspect the cable condition; if damage is found, repair or replace the cable as appropriate.

状況
ガソリンエンジン搭載車において、バッテリーケーブルの配索が不適切のため、当該ケーブルがエンジン本体の温水コネクタと干渉するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、エンジンの振動により当該ケーブルが損傷し、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、クリップを追加し、当該ケーブルの配索方法を変更する。 なお、ケーブルの状態を点検し損傷がある場合は、状態に応じて補修または交換を行う。
