Defect
On diesel-powered vehicles, the intake duct has insufficient strength. Stress concentrates at the duct's clamp attachment points, causing cracks to develop. These cracks allow intake air and blowby gas to leak. As a result, the engine warning lamp illuminates and the vehicle may suffer reduced acceleration.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the intake duct and clamp with corrected parts.

状況
ディーゼルエンジン搭載車の吸気ダクトにおいて、当該ダクトの強度が不足しているため、当該ダクト固定用のクランプ部に応力が集中して亀裂が発生し、吸入空気、ブローバイガスが漏れるものがある。そのため、エンジン警告灯が点灯して、加速不良に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ダクト、および、当該クランプを対策品と交換する。
