Defect
On specially configured route buses in which the relay wiring of the idling stop system relay box was modified to allow the voice synthesis broadcast unit (destination announcements, etc.) to operate while the engine is off, improper restoration of the wiring after modification may result in the low-beam headlight relay wiring being pinched by the relay box. Continued use in this condition may cause the wiring to short circuit. In the worst case, the low-beam headlights may fail to illuminate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, re-route the low-beam headlight relay wiring to its correct position and secure it with tape. Any wiring found to be damaged must be repaired.

状況
エンジン停止中に音声合成放送装置(行き先案内放送等)を作動させるため、アイドリングストップ装置のリレーボックスのリレー配線を変更した特別仕様の路線バスにおいて、変更後の復元作業が不適切なため、すれ違い用前照灯リレーの配線がリレーボックスに挟まれるものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、配線がショートし、最悪の場合、すれ違い用前照灯が点灯しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、すれ違い用前照灯リレー配線を正規位置に配索し、テープで固定する。なお、配線に損傷が見られるものは、配線を修理する。
