Defect
The evaporative emission canister's fresh air intake hose is improperly assembled, and on some vehicles the hose is pinched between the vehicle body and the fuel tank. Continued use in this condition reduces purge flow, resulting in insufficient canister purging and the potential for evaporative emissions to exceed the regulated limit.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the routing and assembly condition of the fresh air intake hose; if the hose is found pinched, correct it to the proper assembled position.

状況
燃料蒸発ガスの排出を抑止するキャニスターの大気導入ホースの取り付けが不適切なため、当該ホースが車体と燃料タンクの間に挟まっているものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けるとパージ流量が低下し、キャニスターの掃気が不十分となるため、基準値を超える燃料蒸発ガスが排出するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、大気導入ホースの組み付け状態を点検し、ホースが挟まっている場合は、正規の組み付け状態に修正する。
