Defect
On visiting home-bath service vehicles, the drilling process used to create auxiliary seat mounting holes in the vehicle floor panel was performed incorrectly, damaging the evaporative emission control system piping that runs directly below the mounting holes on some vehicles. On others, the auxiliary seat mounting bolts contact the piping. Continued use may cause the piping to develop holes, allowing evaporative fuel emissions to leak into the atmosphere.
Corrective action
Relocate the auxiliary seat mounting bolt positions on all vehicles. Inspect the piping; replace any piping that is damaged or contacted by a bolt with a new unit.

状況
訪問入浴車において、車両フロアパネルに補助座席を取り付ける穴をドリルであける作業工程が不適切なため、当該取付穴の直下に通っている燃料蒸発ガス発散防止装置の配管を損傷させてしまったものがある。また、補助座席の取付ボルトと当該配管が干渉しているものがある。このため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、配管に穴があいて燃料蒸発ガスが大気中に漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両の補助座席取付けボルトの位置を変更する。そのうえで配管を点検し、配管に損傷又はボルトが接触しているものは新品の配管に交換する。
