Defect
The fuel pressure sensor mounted on the engine delivery pipe was not tightened to the specified torque. Engine vibration and other factors may cause the fastening to loosen during use, allowing fuel to leak along the sensor's threaded fitting.
Corrective action
Inspect all vehicles for fuel leaks at the fuel pressure sensor mounting. Where no leak is present, retighten the sensor to the specified torque. Where a leak is present, replace the mounting gasket and tighten the sensor to the specified torque.

状況
エンジンのデリバリパイプに取付けている燃料圧力センサの締付けが不十分なため、そのまま使用を続けると、エンジンの振動等により締付けが緩むものがある。そのため、燃料圧力センサの取付け部のねじを伝って燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料圧力センサ取付け部の燃料漏れの有無を点検し、漏れのないものは当該センサを適正なトルクで増し締めし、漏れのあるものは取付け部のガスケットを交換し当該センサを適正なトルクで締付ける。
