Defect
Improper installation of the cover panel beside the driver's seat damages the wiring for the power seat. Continued use may cause the wiring to short circuit, resulting in the seat moving unexpectedly while the vehicle is in motion.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, apply a non-woven fabric protective wrap to the affected power seat wiring.
