Defect
On welfare vehicles equipped with a rotating care seat at the front passenger position, the manufacturing process for the seat mounting assembly is improper, resulting in insufficient weld strength at the pivot bearing that connects the mounting assembly to the vehicle body base. Continued use may cause the rotating seat to separate from the bearing assembly along with the entire seat.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the weld condition of the pivot bearing. If a weld defect is found, replace the entire rotating seat mounting assembly with a conforming unit.

状況
助手席に介護用回転シートが架装された福祉車両において、回転シート取付装置の製造工程が不適切なため、当該取付装置と車体側の台座を接続する回転軸受部の溶接強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、回転シートごと当該軸受部から外れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、回転軸受部の溶接状態を点検し、溶接不良が認められる場合は、回転シート取付装置一式を良品と交換する。
