Defect
In route buses, the turbocharger compressor wheel has insufficient strength to withstand rotational fluctuations in the turbocharger. Repeatedly operating the engine into high-RPM ranges during acceleration can cause the compressor wheel to fracture. Continued use after fracture results in white smoke and loss of power output, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
Replace the turbocharger on all vehicles with the corrected part.

状況
路線バスにおいて、ターボチャージャ回転の変動に対して、ターボコンプレッサ翼車の強度が不足しているため、発進時にエンジンを高回転域まで使った操作を繰り返すと、コンプレッサ翼車が破損することがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、白煙の発生及び出力不足になり、運行出来なくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ターボチャージャを対策品と交換する。
