Defect
The front axle has insufficient strength margin, allowing the kingpin bore to wear. If the clearance between the kingpin bore and kingpin exceeds the maintenance specified value and the vehicle continues to be operated, cracks develop in the knuckle stopper section of the front axle. In the worst case, the vehicle may become inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the clearance between the front axle kingpin bore and kingpin. Any unit exceeding the maintenance specified value must be replaced with a new part. Additionally, owners will be notified via direct mail of proper inspection and maintenance procedures.

状況
前車軸の強度に余裕が少ないため、キングピン穴部が摩耗し、キングピン穴とキングピンの隙間(ガタ)が整備基準値を超えた状態で使用を続けると、前車軸のナックルストッパ部に亀裂が発生し、最悪の場合、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、前車軸のキングピン穴部とキングピンの隙間(ガタ)を点検し、整備基準値を超えているものは新品に交換するとともに、使用者に対しダイレクトメールにて適切な点検整備方法を周知する。
