Defect
On fire trucks (ladder trucks), the electrical power circuit routing is incorrect, allowing excessive current beyond the rated capacity to flow through the harness connector when the air conditioning system is in use. Continued use causes the connector to melt and degrade continuity in the power circuit. In the worst case, the speedometer may stop functioning and the ABS may become inoperative.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reroute the affected power circuit and replace the harness connector and relay in that circuit with new parts.

状況
消防車（はしご車）の電気装置において、電源回路の配索が不適切なため、エアコンを使用した際にハーネスコネクタに容量を超える過大な電流が流れることがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、当該コネクタが溶損し、電源回路が導通不良となり、最悪の場合、スピードメーターが作動しなくなるとともに、ＡＢＳが機能しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、該当する電源回路の配索を変更するとともに、当該回路のハーネスコネクタ及びリレーを新品と交換する。
